Who operates this service

MiroTalk CLOUD is self-hostable software. The person or organization operating this deployment is responsible for the personal data it collects and determines how that data is handled. This deployment identifies its operator as MiroTalk CLOUD deployment operator. Privacy questions and requests may be sent to miroslav.pejic.85@gmail.com.

Data we process

Depending on the features enabled by the operator, this service may process:

• Account information such as your username, email address, and hashed password.
• Meeting rooms, events, availability, invitations, reminders, and scheduling preferences.
• Guest names, email addresses, notes, phone numbers, and invitation messages you provide.
• Identity-provider profile details when OpenID Connect is enabled, including name, email, and profile image.
• Technical data such as IP address, browser information, request and error logs, authentication cookies, and browser storage used for session and interface preferences.
• Billing identifiers and subscription status when paid plans are enabled.

Calls and messages

The MiroTalk CLOUD scheduling service does not intentionally store the video, audio, or in-call chat content of live meetings. Meetings open in separately configured P2P, SFU, C2C, broadcast, or other communication services. Those services process media and may offer recording, messaging, or storage features under their own configuration and privacy terms. Obtain any required participant consent before recording.

How data is used

Data is used to provide and secure accounts, schedule and run meetings, send requested notifications, process subscriptions, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the operator processes data as needed to provide the service and perform its agreement with you, comply with legal obligations, protect the service and its users, and pursue legitimate interests such as security and service improvement. Consent is used where required and may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Analytics

When enabled by the operator, this service uses Umami Analytics through the configured analytics server at https://stats.mirotalk.com. Umami processes usage information such as visited pages, referral source, browser, device type, approximate location, and selected interface events. This information is used to understand and improve the service. Umami does not use advertising cookies. The operator does not sell analytics data or share it for targeted advertising. An operator must disable analytics or obtain consent before loading it where applicable law requires prior consent.

Service providers

The operator may configure third-party services for email, SMS, identity, payments, error reporting, hosting, or network connectivity. Those providers process data under their own terms and the operator's configuration. Payment card details are handled by Stripe when Stripe billing is enabled and are not entered into MiroTalk CLOUD.

Providers may process data in countries other than your own. The operator is responsible for using appropriate contractual or other safeguards when applicable law restricts international transfers.

Storage, retention, and security

The service does not impose one universal retention period. The deployment operator controls retention for account data, scheduling data, delivery history, logs, and backups according to its operational and legal requirements. Deleting an account removes the active account, rooms, events, bookings, booking profile, invitation queue/history, and configured Stripe customer and subscription from this deployment and requests cleanup from configured billing services. Limited information may remain temporarily in backups, logs, or third-party provider records where required for security, billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

You may ask the deployment operator to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent, subject to applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. Registered users may delete their account from Account settings. You can manage browser cookies and storage, although disabling them may prevent authentication or preferences from working. Children's privacy

This service is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to its use. A parent, guardian, school, or other responsible organization must provide any authorization required by applicable law before a minor uses the service. Contact the operator if you believe a child provided personal data without the required authorization.

This policy may change as the service or legal requirements evolve. Updates will be posted on this page and may also be announced through the official community forum. The version above will be revised when this policy changes.
